Six-week intensive course to introduce to the history of Amherst, MA museums, collections, and curating. Examined diverse objects, display techniques, and museum careers during visits to art, science, and history museums in western Massachusetts’ Pioneer Valley and in New York City.
Analyzed new directions in curatorial studies, focusing on current explorations in contemporary practice, issues of exhibiting across cultures, and new media platforms.
Curated digital exhibitions for the Mount Holyoke College Art Museum, for their Judy Pfaff exhibit and Hampshire College Library for their Al-Mutanabbi Street Starts Here project.
